But what we do at Seraphine is more than just fashion and clothes. We help women feel confident in their changing bodies and enable them to continue to express the choice and style they had prior to pregnancy and during pregnancy, whilst providing them with product innovations that make motherhood a breeze.

What we’re delivering

We are highly international (more than 2/3 of our sales are from markets outside of the UK) and highly digital – we were an early embracer of eCommerce and the channel now represents 90% of our revenue. We’re also a digital marketing machine: acquiring customers profitably from first order, with more than half returning for a second order during the current pregnancy and more and more coming back to us again when the family grows further. This all contributes to market leading profit and product margins and our double-digit growth rates across the world put the rest to shame.

But we’re just getting started. With plans to significantly expand in our key markets in the next 12 months and to add more acquisition channels, we’re really in the sweet spot. We have significant momentum – but we’re still small enough that you’ll see your impact every day.

Purpose of the role

The Application Analyst is a newly established role at Seraphine. Reporting to the Head of Applications & Service Delivery, the successful applicant will be responsible for performing application maintenance and system configuration activities for back office applications, ensuring risk management and secure operation under the guidance of a Senior Application Analyst. Additionally, the role involves providing support for application development, upgrades, and interfaces connected to Back Office applications, as well as assisting with management reporting requirements.

Where applications and systems are delivered as a service, to work with those Service Providers to ensure applications maintain currency and security and effectively meet Seraphine's business requirements

The ability to create clear and concise documentation is key. Your role will be to ensure the accurate creation and ongoing maintenance of all documentation, from definition, testing and configuration through to process and detailed interface recording.

This hands-on role can influence BAU practices to improve future offerings to customers, suppliers, and business colleagues

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational checks and promptly resolve any issues discovered.
• Offer functional and technical support, including assistance with application settings and training.
• Create user accounts for various applications.
• Implement change management processes to benefit users.
• Create user and functional procedure guides.
• Keep users informed about system availability and future updates.
• Contribute to testing new versions and/or tools.
• Establish and maintain regular monitoring of end user activity for the designated applications.
• Conduct monthly application reconciliations to ensure compliance with auditing requirements.
• Identify and address impediments, bottlenecks, risks, and issues throughout the software development life cycle.
• Promote continual improvement by leveraging tools, enhancing skills, and refining processes to enhance delivery quality.
• Fulfil any other reasonable duties as requested by the CEO, CFO, COO, and Head of Applications and Service Delivery.

Requirements

• Communicates clearly and engages effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
• Operates well within the wider IT team and forms effective working relationships with colleagues
• Willing to learn; building knowledge and understanding of technical applications and Seraphine's business, products and processes
• A pro-active approach, prepared to take ownership of issues, but tempered with self-awareness of own limits of knowledge and experience to ensure effective management of risk
• Organised and diligent in maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work to a process, but demonstrates initiative in a fluid business environment with changing priorities
• Can cope with work from multiple sources and manage workload and expectations appropriately
• Experience within 1st or 2nd Line technical support and/or IT application support role
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and of IT incident management and investigation
• The ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
