We have a hybrid approach to work; 3 days in the office and 2 from home.   

Job Description

As a Key Account Manager, you will work with a wide range of businesses to uncover and solve their hiring challenges. Your role will be to acquire new clients as well as strengthen and grow existing relationships to increase Totaljobs’ market share. By developing a deep understanding of your client’s current and future needs you will be able to recommend solutions to create both short-term and long-term value.  

What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis? 

  • Position yourself as the trusted point of contact for customers, proactively nurturing relationships to ensure their success.  
  • Conduct targeted research to uncover opportunities and tailor strategies to meet specific client needs.  
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure success for client projects and campaigns  
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing and resolving concerns.  
  • Identify and leverage upselling and cross-selling opportunities to fuel customer growth.  
  • Identify and capitalise on upselling and cross-selling opportunities for customer growth  
  • Track, evaluate, and report on client performance metrics, offering strategic insights.  
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to provide valuable insights and expertise for our customers.  
  • Keep abreast of all product solutions, ensuring customers are fully aware of the comprehensive value we provide to address their challenges.  
  • Achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators related to revenue, new business, client engagement and personal development  
  • Attend face-to-face client meetings, confidently presenting to a diverse range of key stakeholders.  
  • Be a mentor and role model for Account Managers, fostering growth and development.  

Qualifications

  • Strong account management background with proven experience of handling large key accounts  
  • A strong objection handler with the ability to deconstruct customer issues and propose actionable solutions to enhance the customer process.  
  • Expertise in maximising every revenue opportunity.  
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills as well as strong attention to detail  
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process, from needs identification and objection handling to negotiation and successful closure in the B2B landscape.  
  • Consistently exceed targets in a goal-driven environment with a proven track record.
