Job Description

As a Marketing Associate in the Sales Marketing team,  you’ll support the delivery of the marketing strategy for Totaljobs and Caterer.com, the UK’s largest and most successful hospitality job board.

This is a busy, varied role with delivery across multiple marketing channels, so would suit somebody with all round experience in marketing. You’ll get close to the markets we serve and the customers and partners within them, to best position our brands at their heart. You’ll work alongside our sales and specialist delivery teams across the business to power the brands forward against objectives through our vibrant range of outputs. These include PR, digital and live events, site copy and content, plus performance data, market insights and product comms.

  • Plan, create and deliver B2B focused brand marketing outputs which drive customer awareness, acquisition and retention against objectives. 
  • Enable asset delivery across multiple channels and touchpoints, including PR, content, events, partnerships, and sales comms. 
  • Maintain a strong focus on the customer, market and competitive environment. 
  • Create brand messaging that translates across all touchpoints for our key audience groups 
  • Liaise with our external PR agency to deliver on significant campaigns through the year 
  • Liaise with our Events Team to create and deliver outstanding events (digital and live) that engage customer groups. 
  • Collate and translate data into customer and sales insight that drives results.  
  • Engage and manage external suppliers and partners to successfully deliver required outputs 
  • Work closely with the sales team to deliver an aligned sales and marketing approach

Qualifications

Must have: 

  • Strong storytelling abilities, with a knack for engaging readers
  • Experience in event management 
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong relationship building abilities
  • Able to read and dissect data into customer insights
  • Strong Multitasking abilities
  • Innovative and Proactive
