Job Description

What You’ll Do  

As a Sr. Consultant, Soft Development,  you will be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to the entire development lifecycle, from inception to deployment, for our clients. This role requires proficiency in both front-end and back-end development frameworks, alongside integration of third-party libraries. Operating within an Agile framework, you will engage in test-driven development and foster Continuous Integration & Deployment methodologies.  

Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with project, development, and client teams to conceptualize innovative software solutions.  
• Build front-end applications with an emphasis on visual design excellence. 
• Design and develop robust databases, backend services, and APIs.  
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, debug, and enhance software functionality.  
• Implement and contribute to the refinement of best practices and processes.  
• Provide insights into selecting appropriate technologies for varied challenges.  
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging software approaches, architectures, and vendors.  
• Create and maintain technical documentation. 
• Mentor and foster junior team members.

Qualifications

Who You Are

• Minimum of 8 years in application development with a strong emphasis on Python. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in web front end technologies, including Angular, React, HTML, and CSS. 
• Proven track record in working with extensive database infrastructures. 
• Recent experience working with agile methodologies and practices. 
• Understanding of integration technologies such as Kafka and Middleware tools. 
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, operating systems, networking, databases, and containers. 
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud services and deployment models. 
• Experience developing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines for releasing apps (use of tools such as Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, etc).
• Knowledge and experience in automated testing and monitoring tools and methodologies. 
• Strong verbal communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation packages at Burwood Group are based on various factors unique to each candidate including work location, skillset, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. ​

The estimated salary range for this role is ($120,000-$140,000). This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. Sales roles have an additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
