Zendesk is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, based in the UK, who will be responsible for customer acquisition, adoption and growth within the enterprise segment. You will drive sales execution with accounts in your territory by establishing new executive level relationships and cultivating existing relationships. The role requires collaborating and coordinating with senior management, customer success, professional services and being a product subject matter authority.

You will ultimately be responsible for your own success within the territory, ensuring top line growth, via new logo acquisition and customer adoption, whilst providing the best sales experience possible for our customers and prospective customers.

You will possess both experience to engage at the Senior level as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with you and the team. You should also have a demonstrable ability to think strategically about customer businesses, product and technical challenges they face with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions that are informed and differentiate Zendesk value.

Responsibilities

  • Create new relationships and close new business throughout each organisation.
  • Manage and develop a subset of Zendesk Enterprise clients.
  • Establish C-level executive sponsorship.
  • Partner closely with Business Development Representatives, Customer Success and marketing and coordinate account planning activity across your account base.
  • Develop strategy and objectives for each account in order to align and facilitate the best practice for each and every use case and to predict and quantify business opportunities.
  • Ultimate point of accountability for all customer issues & opportunities.
  • Track and execute critical activities ensuring deals progress through the buyer's journey to successful outcomes.
  • Effectively advise & influence customers through consultative selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with your team colleagues to support the one team mindset
     

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience selling to VP & C level executives in enterprise scale organisations
  • 8-12 years of software selling experience; SaaS required
  • Track record of success against quota.
  • Leading & closing complex sales-cycles using solution selling techniques, collaborating with wider teams across the business.
  • Strong interpersonal & presentation skills.
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Clari among your daily tools.
