About You

This individual will provide leadership and expertise in the warehousing and fulfillment processes used at STIHL Inc. facilities.  Become a change agent for continuous improvement and standardization.  Support initiatives that drive safety, service, accuracy and efficiency improvements. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manages challenging projects ranging from analysis, planning and implementation in an international sales and logistics environment, as well as optimizing the supply chain within the STIHL Group.
• Develops and evaluates logistics concepts for new products / suppliers.
• Responsible for logistical requirements associated with implementing and optimizing ERP system(s).
• Develops further implementation of STIHL warehouse logistics standards for the optimization of existing and planned warehouses.
• Develops logistics key figures, tools and instruments as well as supports metrics collection for the Logistics Balanced Scorecard, including group-wide logistic cost and performance recording.
• Participates in the review and, if necessary, application of new logistics technologies at the STIHL warehouse locations.
• Participates in the capital investment process for the warehouse locations.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

Specifications

• 25% travel to STIHL Inc. branches.
• 5+ years’ experience in warehouse/fulfillment environment.
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Fulfillment preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other warehouse management ERP systems.
