(Bovaer) Team Leader

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for the final product production process to ensure that operational work is carried out safely, correctly and on time, retain ownership for problems and follow through to resolution.
• Manage the Final Product operations team to ensure that quality and output of the final product meets the required standards.  If necessary, arrange for processes to be adjusted on the basis of the principle that safety, health, environment and quality take priority over other aspects.
• Performance manages their team, directing and guiding employees in the performance of their jobs, employing management styles and methods which are tailored to the employee/team and situation in question.
• Engage People – Stimulated performance and development of employees.  Builds open, supportive and diverse teams.  Creates an inspiring and inclusive work environment.
• Consult with the appropriate discipline expert in the event of incidents, deviations in quality or disruptions in the process.
• Discuss (process) work to be carried out with the team; coach the team on general changes, process deviations and problem solving.
• Lead the daily local production PDR meeting.
• Prepare and issue Risk Assessed Permits to Work and Hot Work Permits.
• Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses.
• Maintain installations in proper operating condition in order to minimize loss of productivity and maximise availability and efficiency.
• Implement SHEQ Policy.
• Implement HR policy, administrative and organizational duties.

• You have several years’ relevant industrial experience.
• You have demonstrated people management skills and have had supervisory experience. 
• You are able to show effective leadership, good communication and the ability to effect change.
