What’s new with Aptar

We have an exciting position open for a summer intern supporting our Corporate Communications & HR Employer Branding efforts! This internship is designed to give a current student exposure to various types of communication, digital media, and employer branding functions within a global company. You will spend time with our Corporate Communications team and our Global Employer Branding team.

This is how your journey with Aptar begins:

The focus of this role will be to assist the Global Communications team with various messaging, including an emphasis on Global Employer Branding.

In this internship, we will commit to:

• a holistic & meaningful experience for you
• objectives created between you and your manager with weekly meetings to ensure a positive experience.
• summer project support which you will present to the team

We would like you to commit to:

• 10-12 week program starting sometime in May/June and ending in August
• days per week in our Crystal Lake office (full remote will be considered for exceptional candidates)

We anticipate you to work on the following areas:

• Support the communications team with writing and designing content for website, social media and media relations
• Create presentations and support video efforts as needed
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint
• Create social media content focused on employees and working at Aptar
• Employer Branding digital content creation and materials creation
• Requires knowledge of Adobe Suite or Canva

What you will bring on the journey/required qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Working on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital, Business Administration or other related field.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
• Microsoft Office suite knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• Demonstrate initiative and follow through with respect to tasks and assignments.
