Role: Sales Support Admin for Key Account

 

**Location:** Austin, TX

 

Summary:

 

Teradyne is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Admin to support our key account activities and a team of sales account managers. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of our sales department and the satisfaction of our major clients. The right candidate will have a passion for customer service, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. **Sales Support:**

    - Manage and update sales documentation, including proposals, contracts, and presentations.

    - Assist in the preparation of sales reports and forecasts.

    - Track and report on key account metrics, ensuring that targets are met.

 

2. **Client Relations:**

    - Act as a primary point of contact for key account inquiries related to order processing and sales logistics.

    - Ensure all client needs are addressed promptly and efficiently.

    - Assist with the resolution of any client issues in coordination with the sales account managers.

 

3. **Administrative Tasks:**

    - Manage HCL Notes data, ensuring all client details are up-to-date.

    - Coordinate travel arrangements for sales account managers as required.

    - Organize and maintain electronic filing and documentation systems.

    - Process purchase orders and sales orders in a timely manner.

 

4. **Collaboration:**

    - Work closely with other departments, such as finance and logistics, to ensure smooth transactions.

    - Attend regular sales team meetings and provide administrative input.

    - Assist with special projects and events as assigned.

 

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field or equivalent work experience. 

- 2+ years of experience in a sales admin, administrative assistant, or related role.

- Familiarity with HCL Notes (Preferred)

- Strong computer skills, especially with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- A proactive and positive attitude.
