Primary Function
The incumbent will have an opportunity to work within a relevant field related to their major in order to gain work experience. Usually the candidate for this role will be a college student who is interested in learning about our business and expanding their knowledge in work processes, analysis and support functions.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering tasks under supervision.
- Assist in the development of point of entry water filtration system.
- Assist product engineers to create CAD models.
- Following test request to conduct tests.
- Preparing challenge water with organic and inorganics contaminants for filtration systems.
- Water sample preparation and analysis of various inorganic and organic contaminants.
- Evaluate competitive products and product capabilities following ANSI/NSF standards.
- Perform various mechanical tests to evaluate designs.
- Actively communicate test status with engineers.
- Input data to the system and prepare reports as necessary.
Role Specific Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental/mechanical/chemical engineering
- Lab experience or knowledge in water chemistry and water quality engineering
- Knowledge or experience with Solidworks is a plus
