Summary of Job contents:

Responsibilities include establishing credit reviews for new and existing customers.  This will include analysis of D&B, running references and an overall analysis of the risk associated with new and existing customers.  Additional responsibilities include being the primary backup for cash applications and ensure the timely and accurate application of all customer payments and adjustments made via check, ( including lock box and regular mail), credit card payments,  and electronic funds transmissions. include the preparation and delivery of daily bank deposits, general research involving payments or adjustments. This process must be in accordance with the procedures established for such within the accounting department. Other additional responsibilities include maintenance of the ICR to the Festo affiliates, uploading of invoices, reconciliations and follow up for payment from Festo affiliates. Assist with Account Maintenance verifications and set ups for OLS customers and new account conversions.

Key accountabilities:

• Intake and analyze incoming credit applications for completness
• Independantly verify request is valid with company applying for terms
• Pull credit report from DNB website and analyze report for credit worthiness
• Set credit limits and settings for invoice and tax status in SAP
• Combine all backup in Adobe to save completed file
• Conduct regular reviews of credit limits
• Analyze SAP reports to determine if increases or decreases in credit limits are needed
• Conduct all terms changes for already established accounts due to changes with accounts
• Reconcile all intercompany accounts monthly and reach out to contacts about past due items
• Cash applications primary back up and support as needed
• Portal invoicing entry and projects as needed
• Additional projects and tasks as needed

Core dimensions:

• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports
• Strong communications skills
• Cash application or bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel

Knowledge & Experience: 

• Minimum 4 years of college
• 2 plus years experience with credit reviews and cash applications or accounting
• Computer literate
