We’re looking for a People & Culture Generalist to join our Head Office in Kings Hill, Kent, on a 6 month fixed term contract

Due to a recent surge in growth, we need an HR expert to hit the ground running and provide comprehensive support to our UK and French staff.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and adaptable HR professional to gain experience in a fast-paced and international environment!

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with the wider People & Culture team to help develop and implement strategies for the UK and Western Europe.
• Oversee all HR functions (recruitment, onboarding, performance etc.) in France, Portugal & Spain, ensuring legal compliance.
• Partner with business leaders to identify, attract, develop and retain top talent, driving employee engagement and a positive work culture.
• Lead and support change initiatives, providing guidance to navigate change effectively.
• Manage employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, fostering positive relations with employee representatives and unions.
• Develop and implement wellness programs, partnering with vendors and analysing data to improve employee health.
• Drive DEI initiatives, providing training and analysing data to make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• A strong background in HR, overseeing HR Operations in both UK and France
• Strong knowledge of EU employment laws and regulations, particularly in UK and France
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, multinational environment
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
• Demonstrated success in driving organizational effectiveness, talent management, and change management initiatives
• Experience gained within FMCG/food production produce/manufacturing envrionment advantageous
• Fluent in both English & French
• Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
