Where You Fit

We are searching for a highly motivated Molecular Clerk to assist with performing molecular diagnostic laboratory testing reporting to the Molecular Supervisor in our Diagnostics Division.  The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for healthcare with a strong attention to detail and is ready to apply their skill set in a fast-paced and growing company helping shape AI-powered pathology. 

What You’ll Do

• Assist with molecular testing per Laboratory SOPs
• Pull and print daily worklist reports using the LIS
• Locate and retrieve patient specimens for processing and ensure appropriate handling and management of patient specimens
• Enter approved patient test results into the LIS
• Prepare send-out specimens for testing at outside reference laboratories
• Communicate specimen rejections and problems with staff
• Successfully complete customer support calls
• Assist with administrative duties including monitoring, documenting and maintaining supply inventory as needed
• Ensure proper maintenance of instruments, including keeping appropriate records, troubleshooting and performing and/or requesting repairs as necessary
• Prepare samples and assist with Biobank
• Perform other related duties as required

What You Bring

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience with clinical molecular or clinical laboratory testing preferred
• Self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Must have positive internal customer service attitude and be a team player
