Job Description

Summary (of role and how it fits within organisation):

Programming and operating a Colchester Typhoon L65M with FANUC control system and an Alpha SL65 S barfeed to produce quality precision components.

Working within a small manufacturing team the ideal applicant will be a reliable team player with a willingness for flexibility to support all team members in the manufacturing and other areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be required to create CNC programs from engineering drawings.
• Produce small to medium batch quantities.
• Achieve required tolerances.
• Self-inspection responsibility for quality control

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to create programs from engineering drawings using FANUC controls
• Familiarity with Colchester Typhoon
• Ability to work other machinery an advantage though training will be provided
