Job Description

The role of our Warehouse Facilities Custodian is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of our facilities. This position ensures that the facility adheres to health and safety regulations while supporting efficient operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

   • Sanitizing and cleaning surfaces: Regularly disinfecting workstations, equipment, and common areas.
   • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors: Keeping the warehouse floors free from debris and maintaining a sterile environment.
   • Emptying trash bins and waste disposal: Properly managing waste and following disposal protocols.
   • Inspecting and maintaining equipment: Identifying any issues and promptly reporting them to supervisors.
   • Assisting with inventory management: Organizing and counting stock items.

2. Health and Safety:

   • Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices): Ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.
   • Following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures): Implementing sanitation and safety protocols.
   • Monitoring and reporting any safety hazards: Identifying potential risks and taking corrective actions.
   • Maintaining overall cleanliness: Contributing to a safe and efficient warehouse environment

Additionally, an individual in this role must be willing to work flexible hours and perform other work related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent: Basic educational requirement.
• Experience in custodial or janitorial work: Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards: Understanding GMP guidelines.
• Attention to detail: Ensuring thorough cleaning and adherence to safety protocols.
• Physical stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Good communication skills: Collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Problem-solving abilities: Addressing maintenance issues promptly.
