Position Summary
The DRIVE Selling Entities Project Manager (SEPM) is responsible for the day-to-day planning and successful delivery of the Selling Entities deployment at Rotork UK – our first Selling Entity to go live with a new Dynamics365 solution.
This role will be responsible for the effective management of the deployment phase through defining, managing, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver the plan. Including resource demand management, issue/risk/interdependency management, and regular status update reporting to the DRIVE Selling Entities Programme Manager and above.
In advance of this the SEPM will take responsibility for the User Acceptance workstream of the Global Template solution, which is the standard all local deployments will be based on, plus other related workstreams which enable the first deployment to take place. Success will be achieved through working as a core member of the programme team with other workstream leads, subject matter experts, local super users, and delivery teams such as IT.
This is an exciting role to bring about significant business change to the organisation, including definition and delivery of an approach which will be rolled out globally.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the User Acceptance Workstream, working effectively and collaboratively with 3rd party providers / partners, Test Manager, and IT testing team (based in Bath and Chenai), subject matter experts, super user business testers and process / data owners
Work with the Programme Manager and programme team to define the deployment approach for D365 into Selling Entities globally
Manage the Rotork UK Selling Entity deployment, based on the global approach where successful delivery will include full deployment from assessment to transfer to BAU operation and post deployment lessons learned
Ensure deployments align with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and success criteria
Lead deployment teams, manage risks, issues, and resources to meet milestones for on-time, in-budget delivery.
Work collaboratively, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
Participate in transferring knowledge and best practice to other Selling Entity deployments
Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with key global, regional, and local stakeholders
Qualifications
Required skills and experience:
At least 3 years’ experience of successfully delivering D365 CE and Field Service deployments or other similar ERPs within a sales and service context (ideally also within a manufacturing) including people, process, and system activities.
Must be willing to travel regularly between Bath and Leeds
Ability to work effectively within a global matrix organisation, embrace diversity and inspire/influence others to be the best they can be.
Proven ability to set and maintain direction and hold self and others to account to deliver business outcomes on time and within budget.
Ability to communicate clearly and manage change effectively.
