This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of components, ensuring a consistently excellent and reliable product for our customers.
As part of the quality department team, you will report to the Senior Quality Engineer and collaborate closely with skilled engineers, technicians, and various departments including Operations and Engineering.
Your responsibilities will include completion of in-house equipment calibration including bespoke production test rigs, torques and crimp tooling, maintaining the calibration database and coordination of sub-contract calibration services, with the preparation and collection of equipment and managing sub-contract calibration personnel when they are on site.
This role requires someone who can work effectively both independently and in team settings, with strong communication skills adaptable to all levels within the organisation.
Experience Requirements:
• At least one years’ experience working in an engineering environment
• Proficiency with basic metrology equipment
• Desirably have hands on experience of manufacturing processes
