Job Description

Working as part of the Materials Management Team, the Warehouse Operator will support in receiving, storing and delivering components to support fast moving and fluid assembly line here in Bath and Rotork assembly plants worldwide.

Engaging with LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, the Warehouse Operator will unload shipments from global suppliers, checking the contents of each delivery for damages and ensuring items are aligned to the purchase order. They will complete routine pressure testing of components and will then manage the safe and accurate storage of the compontents.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehousing or inventory control role
• Experience and knowledge of safety in a warehouse environment
• Familiarisation with warehouse management systems would be an advantage
• Valid Forklift Licence (Preferred but not essential)

• Able to work a rotating shift pattern and occasional overtime
