This role will oversee and co-ordinate daily operational requirements within the warehouse, and is a key position in rolling out a standardisation within the global Supply Chain organisation.
Through strong people leadership, the Logistic Supervisor will lead the warehouse in accordance with Rotork Lean and Daily Management rules. They will manage the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse processes and will facilitate the warehouse Tier 1 SQDCP process, implementing tools, visual management and information flow into the Tier 2 SQDCP process.
The Logistic Supervisor also has responsibility for Shipping and will implement KPIs to measure coordinator / customer takt time and Team Performance against Business QPR Targets.

Purpose of the Job:
Oversee and co-ordinate daily operational requirements within the warehouse, ensuring the safety of all team members and efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of warehoused goods, ensuring all productivity targets are met.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
• Take a proactive and disciplined approach to Rotork Environmental Health and Safety policy, driving the right behaviours, encouraging identification and resolution of potential hazards. Reporting and closing out investigation into accidents and incidents.
• Lead the warehouse in accordance with the Rotork Lean and Daily Management rules / event-cycle of the site. (Rotork Management Operations System). Implementing warehouse policies to achieve the organisational goals.
• Lead the warehouse team, providing training, coaching and development opportunities.
• Manage the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse processes, ensuring plan for every part is deployed successfully and the processes are sustained and relevant.
• Manage the accuracy of stock movement and control, achieving shift outputs and deliverables.
• Ensure completed work orders are available and the finished goods have been physically and transactionally moved to the warehouse before handing over to the shipping department.
• Facilitate the warehouse Tier 1 SQDCP process, implementing tools, visual management, and information flow into the Tier 2 SQDCP process.
• Plan resource and capacity (internal and external) requirements based on production requirements, supplier, and customer schedules. Balancing workload to demand.
• Promotes deployment and execution of lean principles, analysing and drawing relevant conclusions for data, creating, and executing root cause corrective measures. Providing the team with guidance and coaching.
• Rigorous approach to 5s principles, warehouse, and inventory management policies.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety walks and assess warehouse and yard for compliance.
• Maintain all warehouse equipment, FLT, Pallet trucks, Scales, Racks to ensure compliant.
• Key user for warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
• Lead the cycle count and stocktaking execution to improve inventory accuracy and control.
• Accountable for all warehouse metrics, performance, and root cause countermeasures, inclusive of EHS, Customer OTD (First Promise); Factory Plan Attainment and backlog, Net Value accuracy and Absolutely quantity accuracy
• Responsible for all warehouse costs, including labour, overheads, external storage and premium freight, monitoring and analysing spend according to the budget.

Experience Requirements
• Previous experience and knowledge of warehousing, and inventory control methods and procedures.
• Proven track record on delivery of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery in a warehouse environment.
• Previous experience of warehouse management systems.
