Job Description

The Security Solution Architect role is vital in ensuring the security needs of the business are met.

Reporting to the Lead Architect, the Security Architect will have responsibility for the creation of an enterprise security architecture. They will work on projects to design security solutions to meet specific toolset and control requirements; and will spearhead the adoption of a secure by design approach throughout the project portfolio.

As subject matter expert for IT security best practice, the Security Architect will develop security design standards, they will promote enhancements on the use and adoption of IT security toolsets, and they will support the ongoing development of the toolset roadmaps.

We are looking for an influential individual highlighting extensive security focused experience. This role would suit an aspiring person looking for a new opportunity in a progressive team and organisation.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Practical knowledge of security standards and frameworks, such as those provided through IASME, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent, and designing solutions to achieve these.
• Relevant technical certifications such as those provided by Microsoft, Cisco, or security toolset providers
• Demonstrable experience working as a Security Architect within a mature IT organisation, with a record of delivering IT security projects and developing security standards and patterns to protect an organisation's IT systems; applications, data, infrastructure and networks.
