Your Role
As a Sales Lead, you'll report directly to the Sales Director, and manage a team of Sales Managers within the Commercial function. This role will carry an individual reduced sales target, along with responsibility for overseeing the Financial Services team. It is essential for this role to manage the senior stakeholders of the prospects and clients aligned to the Market Vertical, as well as managing the market vertical relationships with partners. It's crucial for the individual to be well-informed and possess credibility within their respective market vertical.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the Practice Commercial Team
- Responsible for achievement of the Practice Sales Order Target Number as well as contributing through meeting individual sales target.
- Embed any processes or procedures in the respective practice as per the direction from the Sales Director
- Provide coaching, mentoring and support the to the Sales Managers within the practise, fostering their professional growth
- Manage performance across the Practice Commercial Team, ensuring high performance across the Sales Managers within the respective practice.
- With guidance from the Sales Director, implement effective controls and processes to support successful commercial operations within the respective practice.
- Identifying opportunities across Industry Vertical, linked to common challenges / desired outcomes
- Contribute to the development of and appropriate sales recruitment strategy, attracting top talent aligned to the respective practise
- Support the development and execution of appropriate onboarding and training plans for the sales team.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure an appropriate pipeline of opportunities to feed the respective practice
- Build and lead effective relationship with Microsoft and other partners to maximise effectiveness of our routes to market
- Create and maintain a healthy team relationship and rapport within the respective practice
- Work with the Presales Lead to ensure appropriate presales alignment throughout the sales cycle.

Success Measures:
- Accountability for achieving the Practice Sales Order Target
- Attainment of individual Sales Order Target
- Ensuring attainment of individual targets of sales team members within the Financial Services commercial function
- Contribution to the overall growth aspirations of Telefonica Tech
- Acquisition of a defined number of New Logos into the respective Practice
- Achieving ENPS & CNPS metrics
- Creating a positive, supportive and nurturing working environment for the sales team.
