Equal Education Partners are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked with pupils aged 3-11 who have Additional Learning Needs. You will be working in a KS1 class with a 6-year-old girl who requires further support with Literacy and Numeracy sessions. The school is renowned for having a fantastic learning environment, ensuring classes are inclusive and where learning at home is also encouraged.

Requirements

You will be: 

-       Delivering 1:1 literacy and numeracy sessions set by the class teacher. 

-       Recording and tracking pupil progress. 

-       Supporting the class teacher with creating classroom materials. 

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 40 days’ experience in the classroom supporting pupils aged 3-11; experience working with pupils with ALN is essential.

Some key attributes required will be for you to be respectful, dedicated and have a caring persona. Additional relevant skills include being reliable and able to provide a calm response whilst in the classroom.
