Hometrack seeks a dynamic and experienced Senior Market Analyst to partner with our Hometrack Data Services division and provide key analytical insight, market expertise and business support.
The Data Services team works across a range of residential property related markets including: housebuilders, housing associations, institutional investors, mortgage firms and retail. The role will work with the broader Hometrack team to deliver analytics, insight and data driven solutions that add value to our customers’ businesses and become a key part of their critical business decision processes.
You will use our in-house data to develop and prove product propositions, to enhance sales collateral, enable product development and develop new business conversations. The ideal candidate will have an inside track on the residential development and investment space and will utilise this to build awareness of our market leading insight and solutions within the industry. They will also support the pre-sales and product teams to identify new opportunities through their sector knowledge, both regulatory and economically.
This role will suit someone with an analytical or consultative background with experience at either a national developer, investment fund or consultancy. They will have strong insight into the importance of data to inform business planning, strategy and critical decision making.The ideal candidate will be capable of disrupting established practices to drive change, have a combination of technical understanding, intellectual integrity, and a persuasive and engaging character.
You'll help unlock our new market data product set into the investment and development markets by demonstrating how our solutions can be tailored to meet ‘real life’ market trend examples
Support for sales teams and pre-sales support on how to leverage our current products which then feeds/supports marketing of products and potential input product innovation. PR angle …. by-product/output.
Support the development of existing and new data products for Data Services, drawing on knowledge and expertise in the property data landscape.
Define and scope requirements for analytics teams to deliver bespoke analysis where required
Support the account managers and new business leads to develop the Data Services business across key accounts relationships with key decision makers and market segments to raise the profile of the business and our solutions;
Support Data Services as a thought leader in the relevant areas.
Input into product development for Data Services to identify gaps and opportunities within markets that are aligned to our core strategy
Stay updated on industry news and policy trends, sharing briefing notes with the Sales & Marketing team.
Any other duties realistically expected to fulfil the departments’ objective of increasing revenue and customer base.
