The Role
We are searching for a Creative Project Manager to join our Brand Innovation team in the Creative Department at Congo Brands. As Creative Project Manager, you will be comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, and timelines simultaneously. You will report to the Sr. Project Manager and assist them with tasks including, but not limited to, project timelines, project planning, creative team task assignments and follow-up, and project-management status documentation. You must be a team-player with a can-do attitude!
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the marketing department to understand project requirements and objectives for brand partnerships, including packaging artwork, POS, photo and video campaigns
Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring that all packaging artwork, POS, photo and video deliverables are completed on time
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary assets and resources for project execution, such as product samples, brand guidelines, and photography/video footage
Serve as the primary point of contact for communication and coordination between the creative team and external partners, including brand representatives, agencies, photographers, and videographers as needed
Facilitate brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate innovative ideas and concepts for brand partnership campaigns, ensuring alignment with photo and video production requirements
Develop and maintain a monthly report of all content creation to be shared with stakeholders
Assist the Senior PM in the coordination of photo and video shoot logistics, including location scouting, talent casting, equipment rental, product mockups and scheduling
Assist the Senior PM in the production process for photo and video campaigns, from pre-production planning to post-production editing and final delivery
Assist in the management of relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements as needed to ensure quality and cost-effective execution
Proactively identify and address potential project risks or obstacles related to photo and video production, implementing solutions to keep projects on track
Track project expenses and resources for photo and video campaigns, ensuring that budgets are adhered to, and any deviations are promptly communicated and addressed
Maintain database of photo and video shoot resources
Requirements
4+ years of project management experience preferred
Working knowledge of print production and managing creative projects
Bachelor’s Degree required
Ability to lead and work as a team member in a collaborative group environment or alone
Ability to interpret and follow written instructions and/or oral directions
Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
Effective oral, written, and electronic communication skills
A working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent time management skills and diligence to deadlines
