Lighthouse Games is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Animator to join our team of talented game developers. As the Lead Animator, you will be responsible for overseeing the animation team and driving the artistic vision for character animations in our game. You will collaborate closely with the Art Director and other team members to create dynamic and visually appealing animations that bring the game's characters to life. At Lighthouse Games, we value creativity, innovation, and excellence, and we strive to create games that leave a lasting impact on players.

Key Duties Include

• Lead and mentor the animation team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality animations
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and other team members to define the artistic vision and style for character animations
• Create and implement animations for characters, creatures, and other in-game assets
• Work with designers and programmers to ensure animations meet technical and gameplay requirements
• Optimize animations for performance and memory constraints
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in animation techniques

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior Animator in the games industry
• Demonstrated expertise in character/vehicle animation
• Strong knowledge of animation principles, timing, and weight
• Proficient in industry-standard animation software such as Maya or MotionBuilder
• Experience with game engines such as Unreal
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for creating immersive and engaging animations
