Air Liquide is looking for an On-Site Service Engineer to join our team.
Location: You will be covering customers around Manchester and Liverpool areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate positive relationships within the team and with customers, promoting enthusiasm and commitment.
Uphold our Safety, Health, and Environment Policy for a secure working environment.
Maintain Air Liquide assets on customer sites, adhering to safety procedures with precision.
Prepare detailed site reports, keeping customers informed of repair progress.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide insightful quotations.
Understand the impact of decision-making costs on customers and the business.
Innovate and collaborate in alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum HNC/HND in Mechanical/Electrical or related discipline.
Apprenticeship suitable for employment as a Maintenance Engineer.
Mechanical knowledge with basic understanding of electrical systems.
Proficient in computer knowledge.
Full driving license.
Knowledge and Experience:
Familiarity with BCGA codes of practice and UK legislation's Written Scheme of Examination requirements.
Experience with Risk Assessments/Method Statements.
Understanding of CO2, Air Gases, Hydrogen, and application of Lock Out/Tag Out isolation procedures.
Operational expertise in high-pressure cryogenic liquid pumps/regulators and relief valves.
