Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.
Responsible for the operation & maintenance of TGCM related gas & chemical distribution equipment.
Overseeing a PM program on existing equipment and looking for opportunities to improve upon it.
Manage the spare parts program, including management of the customer's spare parts budget and providing periodic reports & updates.
Assist in specifying requirements for new or reconfigured gas/chem equipment.
Coordinating the installation & commissioning of new equipment and leading the MOC efforts in changing existing equipment, including developing training material for TGCM technicians.
Interface with fab & facilities personnel on primarily chemical issues regarding quality, supply, QC, maintenance, special projects and interruptions/near misses
Supervise the quality control & efficiency of primarily chemical systems, including risk evaluation.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for any equipment or product issues and effectively communicate findings and actions to management and the customer.
Timely and effective incident reporting within Air Liquide and customer's databases.
Work closely with the TGCM technicians to provide uninterrupted flow of products to customers.
Interface with customer and TGCM technicians for alarm management in order to reduce nuisance or inaccurate SCADA alarming.
Interface with TGCM & fab on design and installation of Electronic Specialty Gas Systems/Chemical Delivery Systems.
Analyze alternative supply options to meet new requirements, including managing the customer's testing/qualification of the product.
Assist in forecast and specification for new ESG/Chemical requirements.
Look for and initiate cost saving projects.
Provide day-to-day customer support for all chemical systems.
Act in site manager's place when he/she is out of office, including reporting & escalation to management and customer management.
Meets or exceeds all company safety procedures and standards.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED and 5-7+ years in Semiconductor/TGCM experience OR Bachelor's Degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred) and 2+ years experience in industrial environment/semiconductor industry
Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping, valving, regulation, PLC operation, etc.
Thorough understanding of gas and/or chemical properties.
Knowledge of control systems helpful
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
Ability to work well under high visibility situations, including making proper decisions per procedure
Ability to proactively search for and offer equipment or process improvements
Knowledge of Electronic Specialty Gases and Chemicals
Knowledge of gas cabinets, distribution and chemical distribution systems a plus
Ability to write and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed
Strong oral and written communications skills
Strong computer skills, especially in the Google products as well as in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

The salary rate for this position in Texas is $80,600
