The Content Licensing team is responsible for leveraging Conde Nast’s robust archive and portfolio by authorizing third party requests for logos, seals, endorsements, illustrations/cartoons, text, video, and iconic imagery. The Associate Manager of Content Licensing will be a key addition to the overall Global Business Affairs department. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-driven and detail oriented with some experience in a relevant field: such as business, sales, or licensing. This position will be a hybrid position based in New York at One World Trade.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify and target revenue opportunities through the monetization of Condé Nast content; including logos, seals, editorial endorsements, video, images and more.
Support the high volume pipeline of third-party and internal content licensing requests from introductory negotiation through contracting.
Communicate and collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders including editorial, commercial, consumer, marketing, sales, finance, legal, and billing
Assess new opportunities and existing programs against best practices and guidelines
Monitor the expiry of existing license contracts and handle the extension of contractual terms.
Pull key takeaways by closely monitoring trends and maintaining licensing trackers with acute attention to detail.
Coordinate billing and invoices, as well as assist in the review of sales reports, monthly ledger and royalty reports.
Assist in trademark and content monitoring working closely with Legal & Policy and other partners to identify and address unauthorized use
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of relevant experience.
Comfort negotiating, following, and enforcing brand/corporate guidelines.
Independent and resourceful professional with sound business judgment and strategy
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team environment
Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and all Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal skills. Must have demonstrated the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $72,000-$78,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
