As a Facilities Mechanical Exhaust Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the site organizations in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Owning safety within area of influence; ensuring systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility (or operations) impacts by meeting uptime goals
- overlooking projects to meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule
- oversight of planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance, and modifications to equipment, machinery, facilities systems, buildings, and structures as required to support business requirements
- delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions;
- effective collaboration with construction and operations teams to coordinate work in the field
- identify and implement opportunities to achieve lowest cost of ownership to key stakeholders while maintaining reliability.
- Results are delivered through the application of engineering skills and tools; systematic problem solving; statistical validation of system performance; collaboration with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, key stakeholders and through indepth understanding of the operating systems to determine and ensure compliance to existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years if relevant experience in the engineering field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering with 2+ years of experience
- Experience with Mechanical (Exhaust abatement), Chemical, Environmental, or Electrical systems
- Experience with Engineering sustaining support in large-scale manufacturing or facility services support.
- Experience with Statistical Process control (Instrumentation, PCS).
- Experience with Operations and maintenance of rotating machinery. Experience with Maintenance or Reliability Centered Maintenance.
- Experience with Project planning, coordination, and integration.
- Experience with Commissioning Mechanical systems.
- Experience with Identifying, analyzing, and solving immediate issues with technical equipment
