Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, the Regional Sales Director for Gulf, holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Video Security & Access Control. This individual will be a strong positive leader, highly customer focused, efficient, and results oriented.
Job Description
This role will be responsible for leading the regional sales team covering GCC countries (except KSA). This role will be responsible, but not limited to the following:
Provide service leadership to the regional team helping them be successful.
Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities with regional team members and help close sales orders.
Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives for all territories within the Region in coordination with the Senior Sales Director and Vice President of Sales –EMEA.
Promote and sell Motorola products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory.
Conduct sales calls, schedule “local” promotional work and regularly with discipline track sales activities with all channel and end user opportunities using Salesforce.com lead and project tracking software database.
Supervise and manage the Regional Sales team for successful performance of job duties as detailed in the respective job description.
Oversee and manage the sale of products and services within the specified territory.
Provide feedback from end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience, preferred.
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives, with a team-first approach.
Proven team player with success collaborating with multiple departments while maintaining tact and diplomacy that lead to successful results.
Physical security solutions experience and working experience with regional key end users is a must.
Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy with proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting is required.
Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions; technical background to include networking protocols, network equipment configuration.
Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Ability to solve complex problems which may require unique solutions which are used across geographies, industries, etc.
Travel extensively throughout your assigned territory as required. We would expect this to exceed 50% of your time (this may include travel on short notice from time to time
Candidates must reside in the Territory. Approximately 50-75% of regional travel is required. Majority of travel within the territory will be by car, but some national & international air travel can be expected for tradeshows and sales conferences.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years technical solutions sales experience OR 10+ years of technical solutions sales experience.
