Manage the end-to-end development process of websites, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
Create custom plugins/modules to enhance the functionality of our websites
Proficient in JavaScript (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and PHP for effective implementation of features and functionality.
Demonstrate expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, frameworks, and libraries.
Understand code deployment process and version control using GitHub
Manage and oversee the deployment and maintenance of web applications on AWS infrastructure.
Implement best practices for cloud architecture, scalability, and security.
Optimize existing database structures, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL along with graphQL.
Enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including digital Marketers, designers, project managers, and other developers to achieve project goals
Collaborate on a clear website deployment and QA process. Conduct thorough testing of websites to identify and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks
Please note this role is predominantly home based, UK wide, with some visits to the Edinburgh office required, as per business needs.
5+ years experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a focus on both front-end and back-end development.
Experience in developing and maintaining backend on of CMS such as WordPress, Contentful ,Craft and Hubspot
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and PHP.
2+ years experience with frameworks such as Vue and React
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap or Tailwind)
Proficiency with Alpine.js and HubL is a bonus
Experienced in deploying and managing applications on AWS.
Strong knowledge of mobile first responsive web design principles
Familiarity with database design and management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
2+ years of experience working in a project management system like Jira
