This is a three-year training and development programme to achieve an apprenticeship.
During your apprenticeship, you will be expected to travel to college in Leicestershire and stay overnight for two-week blocks of learning (further details will be provided at interview). Travel to and from college with be funded, as will accommodation and meals.
•GCSE or equivalent English and Maths (Grade 4-9) desirable
•Self motivated
•A passion for mechanics or engineering
•Have a willingness to learn, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
•Hold a Driving Licence (preferred), or have the ability to commute. All apprentices will be expected to hold a full manual UK driving licence by the time they have completed the apprenticeship programme.
You will be supported throughout this time by a dedicated Mentor who will help you develop your skills, and an Apprentice Development Officer (ADO) who will monitor your development and progress throughout your apprenticeship.
We pay the National Minimum Wage per age group. Once you reach 23, we pay the National Living Wage.
