Join Dematic's Americas Marketing and Communications team as a Communications Intern. As an integral part of our team, you will be working on a variety of projects and helping to create content. The Communications Intern will have the opportunity to participate in projects related to internal/employee communications, while also supporting other initiatives related to social media, public relations, and events.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
As a Communications Intern, you will be an integral part of the Americas Marketing and Communications team, working on challenging projects and helping to create compelling content that keeps audiences informed and engaged
You'll have the opportunity to participate in projects and initiatives primarily related to internal/employee communications, with opportunity to also support other projects related to social media, public relations, events, and more
Support internal communications channels (intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, etc.) and editorial calendars
Find, research and write stories about our company, our employees and our culture for our company intranet, Dematic.com and other communications channels
Proofread and edit various internal communications for spelling, grammar, consistency with our brand, editorial style and usage guides, and best practices for communication
Collaborate and support ongoing public relations opportunities including impact reports, bylines, media monitoring and more
Maintain and update communications materials and project management system, ClickUp
Collaborate on small-to-midsize projects and initiatives alongside the broader Americas team
What We are Looking For:
Excellent writing skills
Resourcefulness, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Basic time, and project management skills
Experience with traditional media and ability to monitor both
Technical skills include mid to high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office software including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire
