BlackRock’s Global Provider Strategy (“GPS”) team is responsible for using BlackRock’s scale, industry knowledge, and risk management capabilities to build and expand partnerships with leading financial institutions, achieving the delivery of high-quality service to our firm’s clients. To achieve each of these goals, GPS develops and implements a forward-looking provider strategy designed to increase operational efficiency, provide risk and cost visibility, and flexibility as our business evolves. To balance our relationships, GPS executes a global provider governance model that combines quantitative and qualitative components, encompasses a consistent engagement program between BlackRock and our partners, mitigates enterprise
and third party risks, and sets parameters for the selection of new partners.
BlackRock has strategic relationships with dozens of key Provider Banks integral to our business operations.
These institutions perform core fund accounting, custody, financial reporting and transfer agency services for BlackRock and our clients, critical to our daily operations. Our relationships with these Providers are long-term, are both strategically and operationally complex and are financially material to the firm’s overall performance. We work with many of the most significant Service Providers in the post-trade asset servicing industry.
GPS drives strategic alignment between BlackRock and Post Trade Partners through dynamic relationship and risk management. GPS is responsible for BlackRock's post-trade relationship strategy with our custodians, fund administrators and transfer agents. We craft strategic optionality and assure the delivery of high-quality service at an attractive price.
We are looking for a career driven and standout colleague to join Global Provider Strategy within the Provider Risk & Performance team. This group’s primary focus is the establishment and deployment of risk management strategies associated with key service providers. The group's risk governance program is constantly evolving to meet regulatory changes globally and the needs of stakeholder groups across BlackRock. You will work on strategic initiatives in close partnership with our internal business partners to promote our risk management programs, develop meaningful reporting and analysis and drive provider service excellence.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
