What You’ll Do

As a part-time Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye exams for eyeglasses, contact lenses, diabetes, and LASIK co-management.

• Average day: 10-14 patients
• Weekly schedule: 1 day a week, flexible on which day (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or 1/2 day Saturday).
• Our hours are Wednesdays to Fridays 9AM-5:30PM, with 45 minute lunch
• Optional Saturday coverage from 9AM-2PM
• Compensation is $480-$520 per diem, or $60-$65 an hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Practice Optometry as determined by your license and state laws
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and discuss recommendations
• Manage medical eye disease and treat appropriately
• Provide pre- and post-operative LASIK care

Minimum Requirements

• Licensed Optometrist in California
• Exceptional customer service skills
• At least 1 year Optometry experience preferred but not required
• Open to new graduates
