The Director of Onboarding will be responsible for leading, creating, and executing an exceptional end to end employee experience across the organization with an emphasis on creating a standard, repeatable process for executing the onboarding of all employees with the needed technology, reports, tools and systems. The Director of Onboarding reports to the VP, Talent Acquisition in the Human Resources department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Own the ongoing strategy for providing a world-class onboarding experience at SVG, with particular emphasis on onboarding our inside sales agents
Develop and lead an effective and efficient onboarding operation with standard, repeatable processes for onboarding
Assess our existing onboarding programs and systems across all departments and develop a strategic plan for improvement.
Drives continuous process improvement opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, and proposes recommendations
Work across multiple teams (TA, Employee Experience, Licensing, Sales Enablement, Technology, Benefits, HRBP) to manage and escalate issues that arise during onboarding
Oversee the in-person and virtual employee orientation for all departments
Set clear onboarding goals and metrics to measure the effectiveness of our onboarding program.
Partner with other content owners and SVG stakeholders to ensure all onboarding content is up to date, easy to use, and relevant for our key audiences
Manage the day-day activities of your employees
Oversees onboarding employee document processes to ensure that data is secure and maintained consistent with company policies and privacy regulation

Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or other relatable field OR equivalent relevant work OR military experience
Minimum of 6-9 years’ experience - ideally in human resources, onboarding, or employee engagement
Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience running a corporate onboarding program or similar type function that requires heavy process flow and strong collaboration across various departments.
Proficient with Google and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Experience with HR Information Systems and data reporting - WorkDay experience is preferred, but not required
Experience with Project Management tools - Monday.com experience is preferred, but not required
Experience with ExamFX; H&L licensing requirements, background check processes and adjudication; I9's
Salary Range:
$88,000-$105,000
Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
