501317 Cost Analyst in Huntsville, AL

IronMountain Solutions is looking for a Cost Analyst to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. 

Job Responsibilities:    

• Provide cost estimating advice and technical assistance to functional specialists in identifying and evaluating program cost factors and cost impact on program alternatives.
• Refine and adjust cost models in response to changes in technical specifications, support requirements, design alternatives, engineering, and operational trade-off proposals.
• Develop life cycle cost estimates to determine the total cost of the program.
• Analyze mission requirements to determine cost parameters, specific cost factors and relationships to be utilized in constructing cost models. 
• Support the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates and provided Army Cost Experience Expertise to the Product Office in the execution of their Mission.
• Experience supporting the development of Army Program Office key deliverables that include financial data. 
• FMS experience is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Experience in PEO Aviation products is preferred, but not a requirement.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:

• A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience / HS diploma and 9 years of experience is required.
• Must have experience in Life Cycle Cost Estimating and understanding methodologies and developing cost models for the entire lifecycle of a program. 
• Must have a good understanding of cost estimating techniques, statistics, and appropriate colors of money.
• ACEIT experience is HIGHLY preferred. 

Clearance Requirements: Must possess or have the ability to obtain an active SECRET security clearance.

Required Travel: 10%
