Your Role:

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Hawk-Eye, you'll play a pivotal role in the development of our suite of tracking products for cricket. Collaborating closely with the product team and customers, you'll tackle complex challenges, drive innovation, and deliver game-changing technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing iHawk cricket tracking products, with a focus on core systems engineering and computer vision.

  • Migrating key iHawk services to a new cross-platform cloud tracking framework, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

  • Maintaining and optimizing existing software, ensuring reliability and performance.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

  • Supporting field testing, which may involve travel to sports events, to ensure product quality and performance.

  • Demonstrating a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and pushing technical boundaries.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Proficiency in C++, including modern C++ up to at least C++17.

  • Experience in optimizing code for performance and efficiency.

  • Strong knowledge of multithreading and cross-platform development (GCC and Visual Studio).

  • Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, EC2, ECS, and SQS.

Ideally, You Will Have Experience With:

  • Nonlinear Optimization

  • 3D Geometry & Mathematics

  • Camera Calibration

  • Object Tracking

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

  • Qt

  • Databases

  • OpenGL

  • Networking
