We are recruiting for a Territory Business Manager for T22, The South and South West UK
As the role is in the South/South West, the successful candidate will be expected to live in a location that can cover the territory in an efficient way.
This TBM role also has the responsibility for the sales of Harvesting equipment, with no support from a HTSM, so will be required to support dealers directly with the sales of combines and SPFH.
The ideal candidate will:
Exhibit a sound business understanding, have empathy with dealers and customers and be able to apply common sense to challenging situations, so we provide a distinctive customer experience, are the qualities that are most valued.
A farming background or exhibit knowledge and understanding of the agricultural economy and the customer and dealer organisation upon which we depend, is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
Be conversant with the present range of John Deere equipment, and ideally with a technical understanding of such would be an advantage; however, the role of a Territory Business Manager calls for more than a technical appreciation of the product.
Major Duties
Develop channel partners.
Promotes the sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
Manages company assets to maximize return.
Manages the contractual relationship, serves as a liaison, and resolves issues between the channel partner and the Company.
Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial, and/or management-related matters.
Delivers training to channel partners, Company employees, or customers.
Works with other internal partners to maintain a good working relationship between channel partners and the Company to maximize enterprise objectives.
