Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products.  Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. 

We are currently looking for a Weekend shift General Laborer at our Cambridge plant. The schedule is Friday to Sunday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and sort products on the conveyor, set aside parts that do not meet our standards
• Clean mixers using power tools, shovel and scraper
• Participate in production and preventative maintenance of equipment as requested.
• Sort and manipulate concrete products 
• Perform yard and plant clean-up and keeps his work area clean 
• Apply all health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
• Maintain quality standards on products 

Requirements 

• High school diploma
• Manufacturing work experience
• Good team work skills and initiative
• Safety oriented
• Good mechanical aptitudes and capability to progress as a machine operator
• Good learning capabilities
• Capability to perform continual physical work
