Content Management Assistant - DK Asset Management at Bertelsmann

Are you passionate about the world of publishing and have a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Asset Management team as a Content Management Assistant!

 

DK is the leading publisher in non-fiction illustrated works. We aim to move the world forward, one book at a time, by championing new thinking and creativity and putting the customer at the forefront of what we do.

 

As a Content Management Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of content partner selections and submissions for external sales. You will work closely with DK creative teams and our external partners, coordinating and supporting the Content Operations Manager as required. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage keywording workflow with outsourcer and budget handling.
  • Upload and report on content partner usage KPIs
  • Update and maintain rights & restrictions
  • Metadata and rights updates on systems with Content Operations Manager
  • Pulling content together for DK and external sales requests
  • Support and cover for Sales, Marketing and IPL requests
  • Provide technical support to creative teams on asset management systems and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright laws and licensing agreements when using third-party assets.
  • Ad hoc tasks/requests
  • As business need evolves, responsibilities may be broadened/flexible to take into account other business areas

 

Skills & Behaviours:

 

  • Previous experience in administration is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with copyright laws and licensing agreements is a plus.
