Quadrille are looking for a super organised and creative individual to join us as Campaigns Officer.
Working across both marketing and PR, this new role will create industry-leading and audience focussed campaigns, working holistically with brands and non-traditional media to amplify the reach of Quadrille books and authors. Our focus is on illustrated books, and this role will suit someone with an enthusiasm for food and craft publishing.
This position is part of the Quadrille Marketing & Communications team, and reports to the Senior Publicity Manager. Quadrille is part of Penguin Random House UK and is based at our Southwark office, with hybrid working options.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign management for allocated titles, creating and delivering plans that meet budget and have a clear conversion to sales. Assist on campaigns where required.
Build media relationships across print, broadcast and online outlets, creating press materials and pitching.
Collaborating with editorial, rights, and sales to develop strategy on launches.
Communicating with and managing authors and agents, delivering a high level of author care.
Support authors at events as required, and create and deliver sales-driving events for campaigns where appropriate.
Generate ideas to further engage our online community, and grow database with key social media influencers.
Briefing and creation of image and video assets.
Work with the wider communications team to build subject-driven collective campaigns throughout the year.
Ensure the development of Quadrille’s campaigns is mindful and makes a positive impact on critical social and public issues – such as sustainability, accessibility, inclusion and development.
Contribute to ongoing discussions on how Quadrille can make a positive impact by working with all authors, media and brand partners and suppliers with whom the role interacts.
Candidate Profile
Creative and innovative, with proven experience in PR or marketing campaign work (ideally both)
A great communicator, written and spoken, able to confidently communicate effectively to a wide range of people
Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisation and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
Knowledge of the media landscape, social media channels, industry landscape and competition
The ability to multitask manage competing priorities, communicating any issues identified to colleagues as required
Collaborative and supportive, comfortable working independently and as part of the team
Curious and open-minded, eager to share ideas and contribute beyond your immediate role responsibilities
IT skills required: Microsoft Office, Acrobat
Preferable but not essential: Mailchimp, Roxhill, HypeAuditor, InDesign, Photoshop
