Working with exceptional acting talent, producers and studios, we publish award-winning and bestselling audiobooks such as Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club series, Bernadine Evaristo’s Booker-winning Girl, Woman, Other, Prince Harry’s Spare and Dr Julie Smith’s Why Has Nobody Told Me This Before?
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Campaigns Executive who is eager to join this award-winning team, and connect our biggest books in Audio with listeners, driving them into the bestseller charts. You’ll have experience developing inspiring and highly effective marketing and publicity campaigns that deliver results. With a love of all things audio, you’ll be brimming with ideas to reach new and existing listeners.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning, implementing, and analysing standout audio marketing and publicity campaigns.
Generating ideas to promote the audio format across varied audiences and genres.
Driving the conversation around our audiobooks through engaging journalists, audiobook fans and influencer networks.
Developing content with authors and narrators in the recording studio, identify and analysing social media content trends.
Owning the relationship with multiple Penguin Random House print marketing teams to build multi-format campaigns.
Creating copy and assets, briefing media agencies, monitoring results, and reporting post campaign.
Presenting campaign plans, learning and insights with internal stakeholders across the business.
What you’ll bring
We’ll need you to have:
Experience of running your own campaigns (with limited paid investment), bringing bags of enthusiasm and ideas to each one, using your initiative to maximise the reach of campaigns through paid, owned, earned and shared media.
Confidence in your approach and ability to represent the Audio team in inter-departmental meetings.
An understanding of social media, and how to engage communities online through cultural trends and moments.
Ability to quickly build relationships across the business.
Excellent organisational, attention to detail and prioritisation skills, juggling multiple projects and campaigns at once.
Excellent written communication
It goes without saying you’ll have a passion for audio, but you certainly don’t need to have worked in audiobooks or publishing before. Whoever you are, we want someone ready for an exciting new challenge.

Salary: c. £30,000 depending on how your skills and experience align with the role, plus bonus and benefits.
