As a Finance Analyst, you will drive Arvato’s transformation and growth journey in the UK by enhancing the transparency on our cross-functional performance. Reporting into the Head of Performance Analysis and closely collaborating with our senior management team, you will identify key performance indicators and enable the data structures to provide meaningful reports. With the new formation of the team, you have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the data and reporting structure to support management decisions.
• Realignment of cost centers and GL account structures in close cooperation with the Finance team to ensure data quality for reporting
• Restructuring of the asset register and the cost centers for depreciation to enhance the transparency of functional profitability along the logistics processes
• Assist in the improvement of cost allocation methodologies to ensure accuracy and transparency of clients’ P&Ls
• Work closely with stakeholders across all industries to understand specific needs and challenges and identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to financial performance
• Develop reporting templates and dashboards to effectively communicate financial KPIs in connection with operational metrics
• Utilise Excel to analyse data, create models, and generate reports as needed during the initial phase and drive the transition to Power BI during the process
• Provide training and support to team members on new reporting tools and processes
• Previous experience in financial analysis
• Strong understanding of financial principles and structures
• Proven ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerBI
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and locations
• Focus on accuracy and precision whilst working towards the corporate priorities
• Experience with ThinkCell, and SAP is beneficial
