The Barn is Arla’s in-house agency. We were created in 2018 to help Arla’s global and local brands win in a world of increasing media complexity. Our growth and success have been tremendous, and today we are delivering full scale campaigns across many Arla brands, such as Anchor Butter, Cravendale, BIG Milk, and B.O.B.

 

About the job 

In this role as Senior Account Lead, you will join the team in the UK Barn, and play a central role in building and strengthening our relationship with our brand teams, while collaborating across The Barn to deliver best-in-class shopper campaigns. This means that you’ll work on a daily basis with our brand, and shopper marketing  managers, as well as our creative and production team in The Barn.

 

As the Senior Account Lead, you will take lead across multiple brands within the UK, managing the day-to-day relationship with those brands.  You will be a strategic sparring partner collaborating with them on plans and briefs to maximize impact, and working with them from brief to delivery on multiple creative projects throughout the year.  On top of that, you will also be responsible for building strong relationships across brands and promoting the Barn with more senior stakeholders in Arla, as well as being part of strategic work to continue to improve our agency processes and deliveries.

 

Who are you? 
As a Senior Account Lead, you have strong experience either from the agency side (probably as Senior Account or Client Director) or the client side as Senior Brand or Marketing Manager with extensive experience working with both brand and creative development within the shopper space.

 

You possess a broad range of core abilities:

  • You’re a skilled communicator.  Comfortable presenting, comfortable taking conversations on the spot, and with a natural ability to tailor your message to make it engaging for the person you’re talking to
  • You don’t sit back and wait for something to happen, you see the opportunities and you make them happen
  • You are able to see the big picture, but also are quite comfortable and skilled working in details
  • You’re great at taking something complex and distilling it into something simple
  • You’re quite comfortable with being uncomfortable, with a willingness to jump into new challenges
  • A deep knowledge of digital and shopper strategies
  • Strong knowledge of various consumer touchpoints within the shopper environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • You’re comfortable taking decisions and setting direction for a team
