Commercial Finance Business Partner, Leeds

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team here in our head office, Leeds.

In this role you will have exposure to management at all levels so being able to communicate effectively, build positive relationships, support and challenge in a constructive manner are key.

What will the role look like?

• Acting as the key finance business partner and trusted advisor
• Driving effective performance dialogue and challenge within the business
• Supporting and challenging the commercial team in all areas of investments and profit improvement, reviewing business performance and highlighting issues and trends
• Forecasting and reviewing the P&Ls and budgets.
• Working closely with the Senior team to maximize our price and promotional opportunities in the market
• Managing risk and ensuring we have sound controls
• Key driver in the preparation of sound business cases
• Working across a wide network of stakeholders on local and global projects

What do you need to succeed?

The successful candidate will ideally be a fully or part-qualified account with either CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications and will have experience working within the FMCG sector. You will be confident in building positive relationships at all levels across the business and will be able to influence, make sound judgements and challenge the status quo. With a pro-active and independent approach to your work you will be comfortable working under pressure and will maintain focus in order to ensure all deadlines are met. You will also have strong Microsoft office skills and will ideally have knowledge or experience of using SAP.
