Arla Foods UK are on the look our to recruit a Project Manager to join our UK head office in Leeds on a 9 month FTC basis. As Project Manager will be the driving force for the delivery of the Milk packaging pipeline ensuring it aligns to our Global Sustainability Agenda.

This is an exciting brand new investment role, and will focus on the management of multiple internal teams to ensure projects deliver the overall objectives, on time, to cost and to the Arla standard. The successful Project Manager will be a key player within the business, reporting on progress, communicating challenges/risk & raise issues to senior stakeholders, and nurturing a culture of sustainability across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• To coordinate internal resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments

• Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements. Construct detailed timelines and work plans to achieve milestones.
• Owning the weekly project meeting with the cross function team including supply chain, packaging, commercial, product management & brand management teams to ensure progress is on track

Key experience and skillset

• Demonstrable Project/stakeholder Management experience, ideally within a large scale FMCG/matrix business.
• Ideally experience working on sustainability projects with a focus on product packaging.
• Strong commercial and business acumen mindset, and the ability to navigate stakeholders at all levels up to senior management.
• Excellent communication, conflict management and influencing skills, and ideally experience working with stakeholders across logistics and supply chain.
