Life on the team
Our Software Services team is growing and we’re looking for someone with a proven track record in software (procurement or sales), ideally with experience in managing large vendors such as Citrix, Symantec, VMWare, IBM or Oracle.
This role is vital for successful software contracts, requiring expertise in licensing, procurement, and effective negotiation with vendors. You'll focus on software cost optimisation to enhance customer savings, showcasing excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Frequent and pro-active branch visits are essential in order to build relationships with the key stakeholders and to gain an understanding of their customers and needs, also ongoing training will be key in order to keep abreast of changing technologies.
This would suit someone who wants to improve their overall skills in customer engagement, problem solving and new sales, someone who can manage a high workload and retain the levels of consistency, accuracy and professionalism whilst working under pressure. You’ll be trained and supported but would also be expected to be self-motivated and use your own initiative in order to progress and succeed in this demanding role.
