Our Group Information Services (GIS) function is responsible for delivering, managing, and maintaining the systems that support Computacenter’s business. This includes our IT infrastructure and core applications.

GIS is currently establishing a new, centralised Communications team, we are looking to build a function to embed a communication framework, both internally and externally. The right person will be working to support the Communication Manager to execute content against the strategy & plan. Ensuring cohesive and aligned messaging is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner. Reporting to the Comms Manager, they will work closely with the Leadership Team and the wider communications community on the delivery of effective communications.

This function will be working to improve employee engagement and help the business achieve its objectives, this role will be responsible for helping define and execute results driven communications plans across different areas of the business. This will involve recommending the best communication approaches and programs to ensure the objectives of the plans, and the GIS business, are met. 
  
What you’ll do

• Help design and deliver an integrated marketing communications plan that helps our business achieve its objectives.
• Develop engaging content and programs that resonate with different personas within the organisation, considering the multi-cultural aspect of our business, different seniority levels etc.
• Work with other functions to successfully communicate internal programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate communications including planning & delivery, ensuring messaging is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Ensure the quality and effectiveness of communications activities and channels such as e-mail, intranet, videos, bespoke campaigns, team events etc.
• Work with Group Development (group marketing function) resources to ensure content, messaging and communication channels carry Computacenter brand values, tone of voice and visual identity.
• Oversee that projects follow guidelines and are delivered on time.
• Assist in preparing presentations and content.
• Execute delivery of communications.
• Maintain confidentiality in all business-related matters.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships and networks.
• Maintain content and process material.

  
 
What you’ll need
 You must hold an Undergraduate or master’s degree to apply.
