During this apprenticeship, you will be part of the Group Information Services (GIS) Cybersecurity team. Our Cybersecurity team is responsible for keeping Computacenter and our customers secure by reducing the risk of cyber-attacks, security incidents and data breaches. We're a global team that works closely with all departments in Computacenter to provide guidance and leadership on security matters. During your time working as a Cyber Security Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work within a variety of technical and non-technical teams such as Cyber Threat Intelligence, Security Operations and Cyber Risk Management. This apprenticeship will give you the foundation you need to jumpstart your career in cyber.

What you’ll do
For the duration of your programme, you will be studying towards a Cyber Security Technologist Level 4 qualification. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will spend about 80% of your time in work and 20% to studying toward your qualification.
You will build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining open and constructive working relationships with a high degree of commitment. The successful apprentice will seek to identify better ways to deliver improvement and simplify how activities are undertaken.

Please note that for successful applicants, offers will be conditional on passing additional eligibility checks with our training provider which will include a Maths and English assessment and a review of any previous qualifications you hold. Due to the funding requirements of the apprenticeship, applicants must not already hold a Cyber Security Level 4 standard, GNVQ, BTEC or equivalent qualification to be eligible for this programme.
